Lance is a multiple sport athlete and an outstanding student. He served on the MHSAA Student Advisory Council, one of the most prestigious honors for a student athlete in Michigan.  Lance was a newcomer to the baseball program, having transferred from MLS.  But it is safe to say he would have been a welcome addition

Joey was a limited role player in his junior year, with 3 senior infielders ahead of him.  But he continued to work hard and steadily improved as the year progressed.  He was the smallest player on the team, but size means very little in baseball.  He became one of our best, most trusted base runners

Blake played football and baseball in his senior year, and was another great student in the classroom.  In his junior season on the diamond, he battled some nagging injuries, but when healthy was a regular starter in right field.  He was usually in the middle of the lineup and counted on to drive in runs.

The Varsity Softball team and coaches wanted to honor each of our 5 seniors this year by donating $50 to a charity of their choice. Honoring Senior Spring Athlete Kara Reed

Kara has been playing softball at Western for 4 years and this would have been her first year on the Varsity team. She worked really hard in the off season to get the chance to get some pitching time at the Varsity level, and was also looking to see some playing time on the infield.

Honoring Senior Spring Athlete Aaron Norfleet

Aaron Norfleet is our second Saginaw Valley League Scholar Athlete of the year. Aaron is a three sport athlete, excelling in football, basketball, and track, all while maintaining a 4.23 gpa. Aaron was co-captain of the Varsity football team this year, and was a two way starter at TE/DE. He received the SVL Honorable Mention

Bristol is a 4 year Varsity Softball starter and has been the general on the infield.  Her range at shortstop is unmatched with a quick release.  Her foot speed on the bases makes her a threat and puts stress on the defense.  Bristol was slotted as the #9 hitter, not because she is a poor hitter,
