Ethan Meylan has been a member of the track team throughout middle school and high school and he has been an invaluable leader on the track for the past two years. While starting out as a short event sprinter and becoming anchor member of the sprint relays, he has recently been working to develop his mid distance abilities in the 400m and 800m. Regardless of the event, Ethan has always been dedicated to becoming better at whatever he runs and he is the poster child for hard work. In the off season he leads the winter conditioning program and hits the weight room to improve his running technique and strength. In 2019, he was first on the team in the 200m and he placed 2nd in Bay County at the Bay County Championships in the 400m. These personal accomplishments while good, don’t define him. Ethan is a team player, as displayed by his favorite track memory, a come from behind victory in the 4x400m relay when Ethan ran down his competitor in the last 100 meters to win the race for his team. This is Ethan, always doing everything he can for his team, on the track and off the track. Ethan will continue his academic career by attending Ohio Technical College to study Welding technology. We wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors Ethan! Forever a Warrior!!
